Anybody ever heard of a coercive monopoly? The government is allowed to form a coercive monopoly or a state monopoly when law allows them to do that. Monopolies are formed to stifle competition and create price structures so favorable that the consumer is gouged to the max. So, anyone think that may be the attempt here, for the government to cause gun companies to starve for expansion and production monies so that their products increase dramatically in price and achieve lowered gun dales as a result? Just one more chink in our armor!

Not as much as I do!
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people.  On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.”  H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun,  July 26, 1920.
