Warph:  I wonder what the wives of America's "Joe, the Plumbers" would say about Obuma's welfare package at the taxpayers expense to their hard working husbands?  I bet it would be something like this:


"I’m sorry Obuma, but why on earth would you want to send Joe the Plumber money?  I don’t even think Joe wants your money.  My husband is ‘Joe the Plumber’ and both he and I would be horrified if we became some charity case and people sent us money.  The ‘Joe Plumbers’ of the USA work hard for their money, they pride themselves on being able to take care of their family, give some to their church, save a little and maybe have a few bucks left to do some fun things once in a while.  Joe Plumber doesn’t depend on money to make him happy.  He gets joy out of the small things in life.  Going to his kids ball game or his daughters ballet recital, going fishin’ on a Saturday morning with the kids, getting out with the wife once in a while.  Mostly, Joe Plumber loves to just come home after a hard days work, sit down at the dinner table, eat a good meal with his family, wrestle around with his kids for awhile, maybe watch a TV show or two on TV, tuck his kids in to bed at night then head off to bed with his wife and do it all again the next day. Joe Plumber spends one of his days off gettin’ up early on Sunday morning to get his family off to church on time where he throws a little bit of his hard earned money into the basket each week knowing that his money will be put to good use and help someone else in need or maybe his money in the basket will go to the youth group so they can go on a mission trip in the summer. THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT MAKE JOE PLUMBER HAPPY!!  All he hopes for is that the work keeps coming and he can keep his house, feed and clothe his family and drive his cars.  If things get better for Joe financially he will add a little more in savings, put a little more in the basket on Sunday, maybe buy a few more things for his family.  The last thing Joe would ever want is for YOU to give him money!  He would say please if you must give money away, please give it to a charitable cause or please help somebody who has less than I do.  You will hurt Joe’s pride if you offer him money because he is 'JOE THE PLUMBER' and he works for everything he has and it is his his biggest most proudest accomplishment he will ever have in life!"

Down the Rabbit Hole: What Political Label Are You?

These days, if you’re going to argue politics, it’s probably best to begin by defining terms.  For instance, sitting around the 19 hole, I often hear from conservatives who prefer to call themselves true liberals, while at the same time we have leftists calling themselves moderates, centrist or independents.  We also have people on the right calling other people on the right neo-cons and Rino's (Republicans in name only).  Instead of clearing anything up, all this constant labeling only serves to muddy the waters.  For all normal purposes, I think it suffices to say that if you’re going to vote for McCain and Palin, you’re a Republican, and if you’re going to vote for Obuma and Biden, you’re an idiot. 

I simply can’t comprehend why half of America is going to troop out like zombies on Nov. 4th and cast their votes for the most left-wing radical who has ever run for president without running..... like Norman Thomas, Eugene Debs, Eric Hass, Clifton DeBerry and Henning A. Blomen, as a Socialist; or, like Henry Wallace and Vincent Hallinan, as Progressives; or, like William Z. Foster, as a Communist.  The only one of them to ever collect even as many as a million votes was Wallace, in 1948, when Truman and Dewey split 46 million votes between the two of them.

So, what on earth has happened here in Wonderland that over 55 million Americans are prepared to cast their votes for a guy like Obuma?  How can anyone ignore what it says about the man’s character that he has maintained close relationships with people like Tony Rezko and William Ayers; attended a place of worship that was so hate-filled it was more like an Iranian mosque than an American church; and carried on the agenda of radical leftist Saul Alinsky as a community organizer and as counsel for ACORN.

Even if Obuma didn’t cart around so much baggage -- and, no, of course I’m not referring to Michelle (“I’ve never been proud of America”) Obuma -- why would any sane person want to entrust America’s well being to an unrepentant leftist?  These are the same people who want us to lose in Iraq just as they wanted us to lose in Vietnam and, before that, in Korea.  Obuma’s disciples are the children and grandchildren of the folks who didn’t want us fighting Nazism 70 years ago, once Stalin and Hitler signed their mutual non-aggression pact, but insisted we go to war just as soon as Germany invaded the Soviet Union.  They’re never for America, always siding with those opposed to us, be it the Communists in Cuba, China and Venezuela, or Islamic terrorists anywhere on earth, including all of Wonderland.

Although I’m aware of all the rumors floating around on the Internet, I’ve seen no compelling evidence that Obuma is a Muslim, although its probably there somewhere.   Frankly, though, I think he is something far worse -- a Jeremiah Wright version of a Christian, a racist who attended a church for 20 plus years, where he sat quietly and listened to a crazy bastard viciously attack white people, specifically white Christians, for a thousand Sundays.  And all the while, he was seated next to his wife, a woman who took advantage of affirmative action to attend a classy university paid for by your taxes and mine and then devoted her thesis to the proposition that the campus was a microcosm of racist America.  Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

In conclusion, let me just say that even something as catastrophic as the nation’s current financial crisis has its funny side, thanks to liberals.  Consider Barack Hussein Obuma, a man who apparently regards gall, hypocrisy and arrogance, as the most important attributes in a leader, blaming everything on the GOP, even though it was John McCain who was calling for stronger regulations on Fannie Mae all along, while it’s Obuma who is joined at the hip with former Fannie Mae executives James Johnson and Franklin Delano Raines and Tim Howard; it’s Obuma who received thousands upon thousands of dollars in kickbacks from his chums at Fannie Mae; and it’s Obuma who, like FDR during the 1930s, is convinced that the way to resuscitate a failing economy is by increasing taxes.

But, in an attempt to be fair and balanced in placing the responsibility for the financial mess, I must admit it’s not entirely the fault of Sen. Obuma.  A lot of the blame goes to his good friend and political ally, Rep. Barney Frank (D).  He’s the fellow who not only turned a blind eye to the goings-on at Fannie Mae, but was in bed, both figuratively and literally, with the man he called his spouse, Herbert Moses, the one-time director of housing initiatives for Fannie Mae.

As Rep. Frank’s obvious role model, Porky Pig, was famous for saying, “Th-Th-That’s all, folks!”

If I Were President

Let me state for the record that I do not want to be president.  For one thing, I don’t want to move back to Washington DC because I hate cold weather.  For another, I make it a point to avoid any event that requires a suit and tie here of late, and, so far as I can tell, the president has to get dressed up to go to the bathroom.  Besides, the mere thought of having to spend time with people like Robert Byrd, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Barney Frank, Harry Reid and Christopher Dodo, is enough to give me a migraine. However, if the only alternative to my having to take the job is for muslim marxist Barack Hussein Obuma to get it, I’ll make the sacrifice.

So, my question is, if I’m willing to give up nice weather and golf for the good of our beloved country, why isn’t John McCain at least willing to take off the kid gloves?  I haven’t seen this little energy since Fred Thompson dropped his hat in the ring.

It’s my own theory that the liberals have squawked so much about McCain’s alleged temper that his handlers have been driving home the message that the senator must remain cool, calm and collected.  That happens to be very professional and very predictable advice but, that doesn't sound like John 'Quick Tempered' McCain to me.  The only problem is that it’s also very stupid.  At a time when the American public wants to round up every politician, every CEO and every economic advisor who had anything to do with the current meltdown and hang their sorry carcasses from the tallest tree, McCain should be the guy screaming and hollering and carrying the rope.

Hell, Harry Truman got angrier at a music critic who gave his daughter Margaret a bad review... (God, I must be getting old to remember that one)... than McCain has gotten with the liberal crew who got us into this mess by pandering to poor people .... mainly blacks and Latinos.... by first buying their votes with absurd home loans, and then sticking the rest of us with almost a trillion dollar bill.

If I were John McCain, I would buy up an hour on all three networks and CNN, Fox and MS/NBC.  I would walk on stage and announce, “I’ve fired all my handlers. Anyone who needs to be told what to say and how to say it by a bunch of high-priced media wonks doesn’t deserve to be president of the United States.”

Next, I would say that Sarah Palin is my choice for vice-president not because she’s a woman, but because she’s the best person for the job, because of her values, her character and her brains and because she is a "Now Generation" person, intouch with today's America.  “But,” I would go on, “the voters deserve to know as much as possible about the judgment of a man who wants to be their leader.  So, although your president doesn’t and shouldn’t have handlers, he does have advisors.  These would be mine…Secretary of State Newt Gingrich, Secretary of the Treasury Mitt Romney, Attorney General Rudy Giuliani…” As I read off the names of my entire cabinet, I would have each of them join me on stage, and after introducing Secretary of Defense Joe Lieberman, I would say, “This is my team, America.”

Then, I would go on to announce that during my first week in the Oval Office, I would instruct Attorney General Giuliani to investigate and, wherever possible, indict anyone who played a role in the sub-prime scandal.  I would go on to say that I was instructing the Justice Department to bring RICO charges against ACORN for engaging in an ongoing criminal conspiracy to suborn the election process in America.

I would also ask Congress to make sexual crimes against children a capital offense.

I would then devote the remainder of the hour to my undistinguished opponent.  I would say that liberals keep insisting that attempts to connect Barack Hussein Obuma to the unsavory likes of Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, Father Pfleger, Saul Alinsky, William Ayers and ACORN, is nothing more or less than guilt by association.  I wouldn’t even try to deny it. Why would I bother?  After all, when a man is 47 years old and everyone and everything he’s been closely associated with, including even the church he attended for most of his adult life, is radical, corrupt or racist, most sensible Americans would agree with me that it’s a pattern, and not dismiss it as mere partisanship. 

Obuma, we keep being told, is brilliant.  But his brilliance seems to be that of a born con man.  He will turn on a dime and lie about anything from his place of birth to his relationship with native-born terrorists William Ayers and Mrs. Ayers, a fellow ex-member of the Weather Underground, Bernadine Dohrn.  For Obuma to claim that Ayers was just a guy who happened to live in his neighborhood, a fellow he hadn’t realized was a role model for Timothy McVeigh, is such a blatant lie that it amazes me that anyone, even such pinheads as Alan Colmes, Campbell Brown, Bill Maher and Chris Matthews, is buying it.

For one thing, even if Obuma was a kid when Ayers, Dohrn and their pals were bombing or trying to bomb the Pentagon, the Capitol Building and a New York police station, Ayers is a famous guy in Chicago -- and he never hid his light under a bushel, only his explosives.

However, the real point of the Obuma-Ayers relationship isn’t based on what Ayers was doing back in the 60s, but, rather, what he and his political protégé were doing just a few years ago.  We keep hearing Obuma’s defenders tell us that these two virtual strangers served on a couple of boards together.  They make them sound like Mother Teresa and Sister Kenny.  What they don’t get around to mentioning is that Ayers not only hosted the party kicking off Obuma’s political career in his living room, but that they served together on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a group headed up for six years by Barack Hussein Obuma.

I have no idea how the Annenberg Foundation thought its money would be spent, but I doubt if the guy who made his fortune as the publisher of Seventeen and TV Guide, and was a pal of Ronald Reagan, had any idea that millions that were supposed to be used to improve Chicago’s schools would have some of it funneled off to Mike Klonsky, a founder of the Maoist Party of America; some to ACORN’s coffers; and some to Obuma’s political war chest.

Even the money that theoretically went towards education was used by Ayers and Obuma to promote their left-wing agenda.  It was Ayers’ stated purpose that the schools infuse students and their parents with a radical political commitment that downplayed achievement tests in favor of activism.  Ayers, who got word of his first teaching job while in jail for leading a draft board sit-in, and who has proudly identified himself as “a radical leftist, a small ‘c’ communist,” has clearly defined his approach to education:  “Teachers should be community organizers dedicated to providing resistance to American racism and oppression.”

As the hour ended, I would conclude by saying, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Ayers for explaining the actual duties and responsibilities of a community organizer.  Until now, we had been led to believe that the position called for a combination of Jesus Christ and Superman.  Now we know that any anti-American small ‘c’ communist twerp can handle the job.  Of course I’m not suggesting that just because Mr. Ayers hates our country and that, while discussing his past terrorist activity, said that his only regret is that he didn’t set off more bombs, we should assume the worst about Sen. Obuma.  After all, when they last sat on the Annenberg Challenge board together, marxist Barack Hussein Obuma was a mere tot, barely 40 years old.”

No Security Clearance for Obuma


When in the Military I carried a top secret security clearance with SCI, then one for civilian work, and over the years, I also applied for other jobs requiring even higher levels of clearance.  I well remember all the very detailed answers to all sorts of questions I was expected to provide--where was I born and when, was I an American citizen, my parents names, and where they were born, their citizenship status, and--I believe--my grandparents, too, the addresses of all the places I had ever lived, all of the educational institutions-kindergarten through graduate school--that I had ever attended, along with names of my teachers, copies of my high school and college transcripts, my credit and financial background, a list of all the things I had published, a list of all of the organizations I had ever joined or were involved on, was I a 'Communist or a member of any other radical organization that advocated the overthrow of the United States government?,'  all the jobs I had had, a list of all my friends and associates during the course of my entire life, my religion, information on my wife, children and any marriages or divorces, any medical, psychiatric or drug problems I might have had, a list of character witnesses, ...etc..... etc.
 
I remember a friend of mine, who had worked at one of intelligence agencies in Washington, that didn’t like the kinds of friends he “palled around with” and he was told to cut his ties with them or he would lose his clearance and, thus, his job: he left the agency.
 
Here's my point.... Obuma has denied, obscured, lied about, or stalled answering about the most basic aspects of his life, starting with his birthplace and whether he is a “natural born citizen” of the U.S., his religious upbringing, his membership in various radical organizations, his friends, associates and associations; the list is almost infinite and any thorough or even half-assed security investigation would turn up numerous lies, gaps, discrepancies and red flags.

** Obama has released just one brief document detailing his personal health. McCain, on the other hands, released what he said was his complete medical file totaling more than 1500 pages. All test results appeared normal, but many details about his health remain a mystery.

** Obama has refused to offer his official papers as a state legislator in Illinois, and has been unable to produce correspondence, such as letters from lobbyists and other correspondence from his days in the Illinois state senate. There are also no appointment calendars available of his official activities. “It could have been thrown out,” Obama said while on the campaign trail during the Democratic primary. “I haven’t been in the state Senate now for quite some time.”

** Obama has not released his client list as an attorney or his billing records. Obama has maintained that he only performed a few hours of legal work for a nonprofit organization with ties to Tony Rezko, the Chicago businessman convicted of fraud in June. But he has not released billing records that would prove this assertion.

** Obama won’t release his college records from Occidental College where he studied for two years before transferring to Columbia.

** Obama’s campaign refuses to give Columbia University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in political science, permission to release his transcripts. Such transcripts would list the courses Obama took, and his grades. President George W. Bush, and presidential contenders Al Gore and John Kerry, all released their college transcripts. (McCain has refused to release his Naval Academy transcript.)

** Obama’s college dissertation has simply disappeared from Columbia Universities archives. In July, in response to a flurry of requests to review Obama’s senior thesis at the Ivy League school, reportedly titled “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament,” Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt told NBC News “We do not have a copy of the course paper you requested and neither does Columbia University.”

** The senator has not agreed to the release of his application to the Illinois state bar, which would clear up intermittent allegations that his application to the bar may have been inaccurate.

** Jim Geraghty of the National Review has written extensively about Obama’s unwillingness to release records related to clients he represented while he was an attorney with the Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill, and Gallard. Obama was required to list his clients during his years in the Illinois senate. “Obama listed every client of the firm,” Geraghty reported, making it impossible to discern which clients he represented.

** Obama has never released records from his time at Harvard Law School. Is Obama Hiding Harvard Law School Records?  Who supported him?

** Obama also has not disclosed the names of small donors giving $200 or less to his campaign. An exception to the finance-reporting laws exempts the campaign from reporting those who donate less than $200, but that law never envisioned the more than $300 million that has been raised by Obama in small amounts. (Now we know why Obuma didn't take any federal funds for his campaign.... fraudulent donations in fake names and addresses..... no telling how much of these small funds came from the middle east.  Obama Hiding Source of $300 Million Donations..... Al Qaeda?  Saudi's?  Hamas?  Hezballah?..... Warph)     The Republican National Committee has released its small donors, as well as McCain’s, on a public database..
 

Again, the point of all this being, Obuma has not convincingly, completely or honestly answered even the most basic questions about himself, his background, life history, his activities,his actions and his votes as first, a State Senator and then, as the Junior U.S.Senator from Illinois, about his friends, associates or associations, nor been candid about his fundamental view of the world and his ideology.
 
Taking just the friends, (Bill Ayers; Ayer's wife Bernardine Dohrn, Tony Rezko, etc...) associations (Rev. Jeremiah Wright, etc....) and activities (ACORN, Mob Connections as clients, etc....), that--despite Obuma and the MSM’s best efforts--have come to light, it is obvious that Obuma would not be able to qualify for even the lowest of security clearances: a casual security investigation would have ruled him out IMMEDIATELY.  And here Obuma sits, 10 days away from being granted access to all of the most secret information held by the entire U.S. government and all it’s military and intelligence agencies.
 
Is Obuma a person who has proved himself to be honest and candid enough, who we know enough about or should trust enough, to give him that total and complete access?
 
I say, HELL NO!  Only a fool would vote for him to be President of the United States!

Scenario ..........
Someone ( not someone running for President.. but just a man and his wife and 2 little girls) named Barry ..moved in next door to you ..bought their house..seemed like wonderful people. dressed nicely.. kept their place nice and neat.. You liked them'.

Then....you find out that a person was great friends with a man who was listed as an American terrorist... and you even find out that this close friend (whose name was William)  of your neighbor had actually bombed the Pentagon and wasn't sorry he did it.. and he would liked to have done more??!!??....  And was holding meetings with your neighbor and coming and going form his house. . and they were setting on several boards with together..working. .

This makes you very very uncomfortable..and scared about what and who this person is that is in your neighborhood living next door to you. You start to ask around about him . Can't find out anything much. He says he was born in Hawaii.. but you find out that the birth certificate could be a fraud because you have a friend that works for the government who lives in Hawaii and  he said that the certificate that has Barry's name on it.. ISN"T the kind of certificate that was used when Barry was born. They only started to use the newer forms later after that. ( He should know.. he works in that department)

You watch constantley ..wondering if you are safe and just WHO IS THIS MAN..who has a dazzling smile and seems to charm all that cross his path. ..And He DOES seem to be a likable guy. And  you see that this person goes to church ( heard he has gone religiously to the same church for over 20 years.)  so you decide he can't be all bad.. And you decide go to his church  for a Sunday. There you find a church so filled with hate for the people of your race..for the country you love and for which your family has fought for...  The screaming of rage coming from the pulpit.. is not of God at all. You leave very frightened and confused.
Is THIS what makes up this man?

  You also watch and dig further and find out it is publicly stated that your neighbor is good friends and runs with the mafia type person  named Tony who actually owns the other house on the other side of this new neighbor.. LOTS of money and lots of unsavory and shady characters coming and going. And that your neighbor hasn't done much with his law carreer life ..but work in the slums of Chicago and be the legal lawyer for a couple of shady nonprofit organizations.
Then all of a sudden you look out your window and this Tony guy is going to jail. The news and papers said it is for fraud. ( And you once again remember that this is one of the neighbors good friends and business associates.

When  you ask Barry about his friends ( in a round about way) he smiles and tells you not to worry.. That what you are seeing and hearing and what has been documented.. is all lies. And HE NEVER heard his paster say anything bad about anyone.. That you must have been mistaken.. Not to worry he tells you..That you can trust him ..and to prove it to yourself.. why don't you just give him the keys to your house and access to all that is yours.... better yet you sign a piece of paper so that you can  have him and some of his helpers make all the the decisions about where your kids will go to school.. and what kind of health care you should have.. and don't forget... he says to you with a smile...it is for the betterment of everyone. **flashing that perfect white smile**
You ask if you do this.. will we be safe and protected.. What about war etc..
He said that the people that hate us and want to destroy our existence  are not to be feared. He will "talk to them' . He is sure that they will agree to play nice and not be a threat any longer.
What about maybe we could help ourselves and have a gun for protection you ask him..
 He said , " no need to have guns around . we will beef up our police and you will be safe". I will make sure that no one has those nasty guns to hurt anyone anymore"

And then he really sweetens the pot and says..
" I will give you money and leave it in your mailbox for you."  You perk up at this.... but then he adds.......
Unless.. of course.. you make more than what I think is appropriate.. and if you work too hard and have too much money and success.. I am still your good friend and neighbor.. BUT.. I am afraid that I am going to have to take a large portion of that and give it to the people who didn't take the time to work hard or to go get an education.. or to try to better themselves and start a business. Everyone likes pie...They need and want some of that pie too.. so I'm sure you will come around to seeing that you can trust me with everything. All you have to do is go out work hard so we can spread some of that wealth around..and take some of your time and do some free work in your community.. That will make you feel better about yourself and make the world a better place. IF you do that.. Everything will be all straightened out in a few years. . Trust me.. I only have the best of interest for you.

Now ..
you going to just hand over the keys to your house?  Are you going to want to go over to his house and have dinner and try to become close to him.  If you have kids.. you going to let them go over there and spend the night and play with their kids?
 Do YOU and CAN YOU HONESTLY tell me that you wouldn't be shitting all over yourself wondering if you should be moving.. or what kind of person had moved next door to you?  I would. I would be watching out my curtains every time someone pulled up to his house.

But you are willing to give him access to everything that this country has and trust him with it.??!!? ??!!
If you can say that none of this bothers you..and you wouldn't check it out if he was your next door neighbor.. .. then I personally think you need serious mental help.

Think about it.

We would screen ours kids friends and  our neighbors more than people are screening the next President of our great country.

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money."  I laughed. 

Once in the restaurant my server had on a necktie that read "Obama 08".  Again I laughed - just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept.  He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need - the homeless guy outside.  The server angrily stormed from my sight.


I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more.  The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more. 

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application. 

Or is it . . . that THE REDISTRIBUTION OF SOMEONE ELSE'S WEALTH IS A GREAT IDEA . . . a political game played upon unsuspecting, ignorant Americans by Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid. . . who learned the game from Karl Marx.
