Obama has to cater to his demographic, which is liberal/progressive "citizens of the world" and illegal aliens on welfare undocumented democrats .
That is why conservatives need to drop BS like abortion, taxes, and debt as campaign issues and concentrate on electing "citizens of the US".

I could not have said it better.  From the outset, Soros' puppet, Odamna, has had the goal of destroying our country.  He has nearly succeeded.

It is no longer enough to "remain vigilant." 

The United States we knew is no more.

You hit on a perfect example, I can't speak for Mass but in NH decent, but not perfect Republican candidates lost to hard core progressive Dems because they were not perfect on these secondary issues that don't mean crap unless you can actually WIN the election.
If you look at the elections of 10 and 12 you will see the Dems did not generally win the elections, the Republicans lost them.
There were a couple cases where R's said stupid things that cost them, but on the whole it was over meaningless crap like abortion or gay rights.
