Happy Valentines Day
« on: February 14, 2013, 07:35:19 AM »
Lookie, lookie at what my sweet valentine got me.   (or at least let me get)

OH!  MY!  GOLLY!  It got a threaded barrel.

Interesting is that this on-line dealer is probably selling these are the rate of 1 per day and evidently has no problem getting them from Ruger, while my local shops have never seen one, even before the current crunch.   They shipped in two business days from when they received my MO.

The user ID on Gun Broker is  bwk9.  The actual firm is BW Outfitter in Anita, Iowa.  http://www.bwoutfitters.net/

Not saying it is the answer, but one has to wonder:

BW Outfitters is 50 miles from Volquartsen.  Two small town Iowa companies in the same neighborhood getting guns makes you go Hmmmmmmmmmmm  ::)
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
