Do you hate the Declaration of Independence, and the Flag ?
Bear in mind that 3 "Yankee" states have less restrictive gun laws than you do and had CCW before you.
I felt the newer version was more appropriate for REAL Americans.
Agreed. I'm just saying that we shouldn't hitch our wagon to that tune, amusing though it is.

Hard to find ones with an American theme and some of these don't fit well.

Yet.

Or this ?

This one is made for the National Guard but it is kind of fitting with the lyrics

Cool tune  ;D

I have had a thought on the subject of "fight songs" versus songs that express our thoughts and feelings.
This is not to knock any of the songs posted, it is just some thoughts I had.
A lot of the songs posted have had complex tunes, or lyrics.
While they may be good songs, and well express our stance, a "fight song" is different.
A fight song needs to have a simple tune and simple lyrics that can be learned quickly and be sung with out music by a crowd.
Much like a "Marching Cadence", it should aid marchers in keeping some sort of set pace and inspire them to act for the whole instead of their own self interest while striking fear of the Peoples wrath into the hearts of their foes.

Tom,

Are you suggesting we start out with a march tune and have the lyrics done up to express our intent? Sorta like was done with the Battle Hymn of the Republic?

I hadn't thought it through that far, but, yes.
Something like that.
Remember, Julia Ward Howe used the tune of the popular marching song "John Browns Body" to compose a less abolition oriented, more "all purpose" song.
I'm thinking of something more like the original "John Browns Body" .
Less general and more directly to the point.
Maybe Blue bone can do something with the lyric,
"You've done as you please, now you'll swing from the trees "  ;D

A good thought. As a piper I can tell you that in  Scottish musical tradition, the music came first, the lyrics second. You wrote the pipe tune first. But in our case what we need isn't just a rebel tune. There are a thousand of them, but we need one we can sing to while marching even if our voices suck. We need something more than a simple cadence and something less than a ballad. Any ideas?
I suggest this a model. Its "The Rising Moon". I posted the simplest version I could find as its the onre we'll be singing at political marches. But hey, it works.

Try again Tom,I think I fixed it
