Hi;

    I guess the most important thing is that there is a park dedicated to the Gulf War Vets. We see plenty for the WW2 Vets , maybe a few Korean , hardly any VietNam.  With the older generation passing and the younger generation not into dedications of any sort, it is good to hear of something dedicated for the GW Vets.

The town I'm temporarily residing in here in MA has a central park that has graves from men that fought in the Revolutionary war and dedicated memorials to every conflict since.  They're working on the Iraq and Afgan wars now...  They're small but still have a purpose.  It's all privately funded though the park is maintained by the town.

Here in Laconia there are monuments to not only Vn war vets, but Beirut, Panama, Grenada, as well as GWI.
