Colorado College Advises Vomiting Or Urinating To Stop Rapists After Lawmakers Pass Gun Control Bills

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Department of Public Safety has updated an online statement advising female students to consider a variety of unusual actions if they are attacked, including vomiting, urinating and claiming that they are menstruating.

The advisory was updated Monday evening, just hours after the Colorado state House of Representatives passed a package of gun control bills that includes one that would make it illegal for people with concealed weapons permits to carry guns on the campuses of public universities. The bills still have to go to the state Senate and governor.

Some of the pieces of advice which were updated Monday evening on the university's public safety website are ones that many would find familiar, from running away without looking back to "yelling, hitting or biting" your attacker.

But the following two suggestions are a little stranger and are already causing quite the outcry on social media: "Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating," and "Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone."

These less-conventional methods for fighting off a would-be rapist are apparently part of Rape Aggression Defense Systems, a class that the school's public safety department promotes as a means for female students to boost their self-defense skills.

So, here a woman is faced with a violent sociopath, who is demonstrating a total lack of respect and possible hatred of women, intent on doing her grievous harm and she is instructed to vomit or pee on them??

I can see the reaction.   "Oh, pardon me...may I use your restroom to clean up a bit?"

Might avoid the rape, but I do doubt if that would be the end of it.

Those supposed highly educated board of regents has told this to CU Boulder and C. Springs as well since it is an extension (Boulder - 30 sq. miles of liberalism surrounded by reality, sorry MB) & CSU Greely as well as UNC I'm sure.
The kicker is they tell students should there be an active shooter they should hide, defend themselves with scissors, a pen, a fire extinguisher or anything they can use for defense - OH BUT NO GUNS! I'm so glad we have such over educated liberal morons teaching our children.
Colorado use to be a great place, then the kommifornians invaded in the 80's, a lot of CU, CSU, UNC grads never went back to home - things haven't been the same since & it keeps getting worse. CU boulder had the Ward of the State, a professor - Ward Churchill. A very progressive liberal that insisted he was part Native American, he stated the victims of 9/11 were little Eichmann's, he plagiarized other peoples works regarding the treatment Native Americans received by us palefaces. Oh, the Native American tribe he claimed to be part of, came forward and said he was made an honorary Native American for his books - that he plagerized. He's no Native American, shockingly some private college hired that moron.

Gun Control – the theory that a woman being raped and strangled with  her own pantyhose is morally superior to one explaining to police how the would be rapist got those nasty high center chest wounds …

I mean I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but I'm reasonablely certain a woman about to be raped knows who the bad guy is and is unlikely to shoot an unarmed violin prodegy ...

 Gun control, not any debate on abortion, is the real war on women.
Next election we need to hammer on the theme that democrats favor rape and abuse over self defense.

I find it confusing that in the 21st century, forty years after the Equal Rights Amendment, that we talk about women not being able to handle the tools of sport and self defense or able to protect themselves.  Over the last two weeks we have seen the ok come through that women can serve in combat, but unless they are in uniform they are too frail to handle a tool of self defense.

I agree with Tom:  The left is writing the beginnings of our next campaigns!

Reminds me of an incindent in grad school in Austin. We had this sex bomb of a blond Texas soroity girl student (who was smart as a whip). She popped by the department happy hour to say hello to a new young  prof from England about our age. She made her manners and was looking to leave, but he was hitting on her. She said "I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got a date waiting for me".
He replied, "That's tragic, but good luck, I hope you brought protection".
She opens her purse and shows him a condom and a J-frame .38 and gives her best cheerleader smile and says "Yep, both kinds".
The look on his face was priceless. God bless Texas!
