Same with Massholes and New Yorkers coming to NH .
Thing that really frosts us is that even the "summer People" think they deserve a voice in how we govern our selves.
They are here for the summer then come back in march to vote to do away with "Town meeting" so so they don't have to stand up in front of the people who spend all year here and say I want higher taxes.
Because what they are actually saying is we want the taxes high enough so these native peasants can't live in the town they grew up in any more.

Can't you stop that by simply requiring that they declare their NH home their homestead and permenant recidence to vote? EG, NH DL, NH plates, only the mortgage on the NH home is deductible for federal tax purposes etc.?Thats the way it works hear, but the bastards are lazy and the snow birds don't fly north in the spring anymore.

The legislature had a bright idea, they require  residency 6 months of the year. But what they are doing is one will get a NH license, the other keeps the Mass license .
Town it's any property owner .

They ought to make it at least 7 or 8. That way you really are a resident who vactions elsewhere, rather than the reverse.
