Tom,

And so are V.P. Joe (I don't need to refer to him by his last name, because according to our President he is just "Joe.") and his followers.  A large part of this anti-gun campaign is based on women not being able to handle firearms oar defend themselves.  I refer also to the University of Colorado (I think it was that one) who is telling women to yell for help, pee their pants, vomit, or claim they have an STD, among other things.

Sexist?  Only because the statement it answers is sexist!

Maybe he should go with a name that references a woman who was capable of holding  her own with a gun.

We can call him   Calamity Joe    does have a nice ring to it..and seems pretty apt besides.

I think the big dude at the end that looses his pants balances things out.

Actually, both the question it purports to answer and the video response are sexist. The latter because it only shows a biased anti-woman side. There are plenty of women who can handle a shotgun and do it quite well. I bet you know some of them. And there are women who can't handle an AR. I bet you know some of them too. So I'm surprised you didn't call me sexist for my comment!

There is the video running around here of the 13 year old young lady handling both the AR and a shotgun along with others.

Yes, and she is essentially a "trained professional".
The women in the video are not, and they were the ones Greasy Joe was addressing his remarks to.
One thing no one has addressed is how is a shotgun at home supposed to help protect some woman who is not at home ?
In that case the AR is no help either, but a Glock would be perfect.

So is Shotgun Joe, God I love that, saying that open carry of double barelles (even if only by women) would be ok? The latest gaffe, but I'd take it as a good start. ;D
