Large caliber AR with fast twist out there?
« on: May 11, 2008, 08:29:25 PM »
Anyone out there know of a 450 Bushie, 458 Socom, or some other "huge" round for an AR out there supported by a barrel made by anyone that has a really fast twist?  I'm focused on getting one so I can run a supressor (if one that big is out there) and a big fat round.  People brag about supressed 308's...but 1100 fps is 1100 fps why not go with 300 grains + in bullet weight?  This would be a great dangerous game (read hog!) gun....especially suppressed!
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

The .50 Beowolf has a twis of 1 in 19 on a 16 inch barrel, Will that work?

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage. Where are we now??????
