NY Post reports ten amputees. Yikes! That sure as hell wasn't tannerite. Whoever did this knew what they were doing.

How the hell does the NY Post know anything ?
I'd put a tad more faith in the Boston reports since it HAPPENED THERE .
By the way, most of the incorrect reports, like the "bomb" at the JFK Library,
came from NY.

My guess would be they have a stringer with a scanner monitoring EMS traffic. At least that's how I'd do it.

It was correctly timed. You set off when the winers are there there a dozen people. Set it off when the bulk of the pack arrives? You get lots more. Apparently they're saying now that there were four devices found. Apparently the last two were either duds or designed for first responders. In other bad news, it is Patriot's day in Mass, and tax day. If this is home grown I'll wring the guy's neck.

There's a hole in your theory FQ.  True terrorists don't actually care about body count unless it increases visibility.  If the devices go off when the winners show up there's plenty of news crews/visibility.  A bunch of no names and the press is gone, no visibility.  Again, this was ameture hour so he might have dork up his timing.

As far as the NY Post, their getting the same AP report as Yahoo and everybody else.
When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

The whole in J's theory is that here were news crews all over the area when the bombs went off .
In fact, the winners had been announced more than an hour before the bombs were even placed.

Like I said, amature hour.

If there was so many stations still rolling, why is all the footage the same couple of clips, replayed over and over?

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

The "ball-bearings"/"shrapnel" reports are also starting to become more consistant. As well as the "couple other" devices found along the route.

Who knows right now....Sandy Hook had the AR left in the car at this timeline.... ???
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Tom I rarely side with you. Lol Jk. But the New York Post is blasting 12 dead. No one else is even close to that number. But everyone else may be wrong. Btw I have been in the Boston Globe website as much as possible. Just figured everyone else knows the same info so I didn't start the topic off with "facts". I was just waiting to get blamed and have my 2 mins of screw you to the liberals. It's not the guns. But that moment is fading fast with the more right wing wako stuff coming out.

Bloomberg is an ass clown why do people put stock into what he says. He could say the bomb was detonated by an AR and people would believe him.
Did we win???

I am in agreement this is a Rogue Jihad (dont know if an actual group will claim this). But done completely by an amateur.

The things going for them is this. This is a world event. Not just your local MLB team playing a game. So all eyes are on this race. But the timing was way off. Yes cameras caught it but like I first suspected I thought there was a target not just random bombing. But that is looking to more or less proved to not be. So for getting max pub and max pain something went wrong. Thankfully.

Still the blasts were big enough to cause significant shockwave damage. For the blast size frag is minimal. Even with the ball bearings reports and a hundred wounded. That number would be much higher with an hour or two earlier detonation and steal cased bombs like we see over seas with IEDs of old mortar rounds and such.
Did we win???

Since I live here, it's been live coverage for the last five hours.  Pre-empting local programming on all stations.

What has been reported thus far;

2 dead one of which was an 8 year old child, 100+ injured with multiple amputations reported from local hospitals around Boston.

2 additional devices located, nothing further to report.

The fire at the JFK library was unrelated as reported by the BPD and FBI.

I watched the explosions multiple times since about 3:30.  The first was directly across from the main grandstand that had families from the Sandy Hook incident.  Not known how many may have stayed since the race winners were already through at 2:30.  Another blast can be seen on the video about 100 yards further up the street.

There are no news crews allowed in the area at the moment!
