I think I would check to see if their prohibition on firearms was in place when they began the contest.  If it wasn't, they are disqualifying people they don't like after the fact.  Ought to be good for a lawsuit, which might bring the gun store more than the $5000 they were hoping to win.

Even if I had a need for office supplies, even if there was a Staples in my area, I still wouldn't patronize them.
Bravery and stupidity are often synonymous.  So are cowardice and intelligence.
