"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Having spent the majority of my shooting time at matches around fellow competitors I was shock, almost scared, when my son came down for the 4th of July and showed me his guns.  A Ruger Single Six and his 1911 sans front sight.  He had to show me how he could twirl his Single Action-AWWWEEE!  Muzzle control was not his strong suit, I chastised him but at 20 he still knows everything.  ::)

I took them out to my gun club to send some rounds down range, sighting in my dad's 308 and 270 after swapping scopes and to put some more rounds through my XDs.  Paranoia set in and I made sure my son was aware of his barrel but I wish I had heard of the "Light Saber" analogy.  All was good though, even managed to ring the 24" gong at 200 yards with my XDM off a rest a few times out of a mag of my own reloads.
He who dares wins.  SAS
