Great move, JC - I am JEALOUS!!!!!  (I married a self-proclaimed "city girl"  ???  :o  :( )

As for DSL, the repeater station needs to be installed every 10,000 feet, and they run upwards of $10k each. I actually had Qwest try to get me to do their marketing to get DSL on one of my ranches!

Was able to secure some wireless internet. Nowhere near braodband speed. But reliable and fast enough to stream netflix. I'm happy.



Spent the weekend picking 27 GALLONS of grapes.

Really sweet, purple kind.
At 2.5-3 lbs per bottle, rough guess. 12-15 bottles.

Just snagged a few gallons of ripe muscadines off our vines this afternoon........ alas, they are spoken for......for making jelly..... still a big WIN in my book!  :D  :D  :D

There is a roadside fruit stand in middle Georgia on US 441 that sells a wide variety of jelly and preserves...... including Moonshine Jelly and Corncob Jelly....... yep.
