One of these days you will be taking your kid to one of these, and that day you will understand.  Watch for the key questions that intrude on your privacy.  I haven't been through one of these for over 20 years, and they weren't good back then.  Based on what I am getting asked at the clinic these days I can only imagine what is being asked of the parents and children in their separate interviews.

My little dude will be 2 years old in under a month.  So far, his doctor hasn't asked any prying questions and has been nothing but helpful (of course, I'd be helpful to someone who was paying me $150 for 10 minutes of my time).  You'd better believe that if any questions like "are there guns in the home" ever came up, my wife has been instructed to decline comment.

She'd be better off saying no.  She won't be lying if they're on your person, or in the safe.  Never let them infer anything from an answer or non-answer.
