Can Social Conservatives and Libertarians get along?..

I haven't had a chance to watch this yet, but I thought it would be good fodder for the group..
(So, for those of you who aren't headed to church, a little something for you too!!!  ;)  )

Short answer? No. I'd rather write a check to the libs welfare BS than surrender essential liberty to a theocrat. Sorry Santa, but if I had one bullet and a get out of jail free card, and was on an elevator with Pelosi and Pat Robertson, she'd live to get another tax payer subsidized face lift. Of course, if it weren't for her policies I'd be able to afford two bullets, but that's the price we libertarians pay.

I agree with FQ ,(more or less ).
How boring.
As I have been saying for some time, conservative morality is no better than liberal morality, neither have any place in politics which is purely about POWER.
If you want to beat the liberal fiscal insanity quit acting like the "Christian Taliban" and focus on the real issues.

Did any watch the video? I wonder because the two Libertarian speakers were very "OK" with working with conservatives.

And the faux libertarian picks the wrong target yet again!  ;)

The difference between the two - which your emotions clouded for you - is that Pelosi is actually dangerous, in a position (as you hinted at in the end of your post about "her policies") to destroy any form of liberty in this country, as she often does. Robertson is a blow-hard with limited, if any, impact.

Today, you routinely surrender all form of liberty to the "libs (sic) welfare BS" seemingly without a problem, yet are willing to rail against a "theocrat".
