Appropriate response to the picture is chum..
Appropriate response to the policy is to make the US/Mexico Border a National Park. That way we would win either way. They would stop all foot traffic to protect the Kangaroo Rat or close it to punish the dependent subjects into submission..

The national park service tried to shut down Mt Vernon.

Oops. Mt Vernon is totally owned by a private non-profit corp. it sits on private land.
