A song for Saturday
« on: October 12, 2013, 09:50:09 PM »
Since TW hasn't posted I will. I found a new tune from one of my favorite singers, Connie Dover. If anyone can rival Emmylou or Gillian Welch its this woman. She has a voice like an angel and mostly sings celtic folk or old American Western music. This an old Scottish tune "O'er the Hills and Far Away" (not the British marching song). Its just a darn pretty tune and it goes real well with the Guiness I'm drinking. Enjoy.

Speaking of music in general.
I have been listening to Pandora internet radio at work.
and heard a song that made me say," Hey, that's pretty good, who is it ?"

Yeah, Kid Rock.
Surprised the hell out of me.

I love that one too. The guy has layers. He's not just a white boy wanna be rapper he does some solid southern rock (as in the post) and some decent straight up country. He seems to able to move in a lot of different styles and respect them all. You can't put him in a box. I like the guy musically..

PS, When I hit the lotto and buy a house boat? I'll have a brass pole installed for the models to dance around too. ;D
