It snowed 1/4" over the last 6 hours. If it's only that much because of global warming then I'm all for it.

i love how they use computer models...  Only as some one that has a degree in math, i call bull shit.   the functions need to try to predict stuff like this are so large it boggles the mind.  The variables are so many and so deverse.  Every thing from gravity( tides), magnitecs, fuild dynamics, solar out put shifts,  variable densitys(air water earth), countors of the earth, shading, the tilting and wabling of the earth, distance from the sun... Etc etc.    thats just off the top of my head.   the only one of those thats even remotly easy to model is the distance from the sun and thats still a conic( not even a constant orbit) and compounded by the wobble and rotation of  the earth and the geography.     still that would be easy to figure, take probably a life time to get a good equation, but doable. 
Soooooooooo, Is it safe to say it's Bull Sh*t given all the variables, all this warm/Cold/warm/cold has been going on for centuries and Al Gore (Who invented the internet & can't be wrong) is so full of the brown squishy stuff. Carbon tax is another way the liberal/commie pinko/progressives can get extra $$$$ & use it to indoctrinate the younger generations that all this "warming" is caused by us humans. Wholly sh*t, I guess I have been wrong all these yrs. I believe this has been happening for yrs. it's a natural occurrence, just like the poles will flip/shift (proof exists) as they have in the past.The f*cking left just saw an opportunity and is expounds upon it, playing chicken little. Just my uneducated guess.
It's funny, they started calling it global warming BUT changed it to climate change - DUH, the climate changes all the time. JMHO.

i wouldn't call it bull shit, the methods used are actually pretty good, its the  models that are not good.   having thousands of computers run the same model with diffrent imputs and variables is actually a pretty good way to figure out a complex system.     to relate it to guns, they are trying to predict how fast a bullet will go, by only having  powder load and the case size.   they have 2 of 10 things they need to accuratly approxamte it.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

By the way, where exactly does the carbon tax go?

Most of if probably goes to the DNC or a HEAVY contributor to them...minus a fee for shipping and handling of course!

It's supposed to go to buying tracts of rainforest so it can't be cleared...that's the last line of laughable BS I heard.
(as if the the miners in South America give a rat's patoot before they decimate an area)

Actually, it's a lot simpler than that - they simply delete the data that disproves their models.

You can sort of tell you are being fed a line of crap when they tell you that the model for Global Warning predicts the weather getting hotter or the weather getting colder or the weather staying just the same.

No matter what the weather does or for how long proves the Global Warming Theory.  

Read today that some scientists are predicting a prolonged period of falling average temperatures..(who knows how accurate they are)...
but Al Gore is probably prepared.  He will invest in the company that you pay to increase your carbon footprint to fight Global Cooling, do another Snake Oil presentation and be awarded another Peace Prize for it.

The only problem with the "Global Warming" bs is that the planet has cooled 1/2 a degree since 1999.
Global Warming, just like everything else Liberals say is "undeniable" , is just a collection of lies, misrepresentations, and media hype, with out any legitimate science behind it at all .

Guess what boys and girls:  We have been coming out of an ice age for many centuries.  That is what the scientific evidence shows.  This turn is part of a cycle, and it started long before we started burning fossil fuels.  I often say that I can't prove that we aren't accelerating it, but that doesn't matter, because it is going to happen regardless.  I will also point out that as with any change in any thing, natural or man made, and the process moves forward it accelerates naturally.

Now, get over it and move on!
