Not to be crude, but was the eight minute delay to make sure the bleeding had stopped or to take victory warning pictures for the next robber?

I hate to hear that someone lost their life. But, if you are pointing a gun at someone with ill-intentions.. it's hard to have remorse for someone when something like that happens. Glad to hear the good guys coming out on top for a change.
