This is the magic version of the myth about Pygmalion and Galatea. Very beautiful, romantic love history.

I have the same problem as Haz in only seeing an "X", plus I can't see the rest of the page below that. When I switch to Firefox I can see everything but can't reply to anything or quote anyone, so I had to switch back to Internet Explorer. This is only the second time in the years that I've had a computer that I've ever had a problem like this, and both pages were on this forum. That makes me think the problem is in the forum and not with IE. None of the other forums I'm on have this kind of problem.

For all the possible faults IE has, Firefox sucks a lot worse. I had to install add-ons just to see videos and still couldn't see them full-screen on some sites, I can't save shortcuts to my desktop like I do with IE, I have to right-click on the toolbar to open a menu then left-click to open a new tab instead of just clicking on a tab that's already there. There are a couple other reasons why I don't like Firefox too. It just seems like it was never finished when they made it, and you have to keep adding things to it to try to make it work. I want to surf the net, and not have to build something that will let me do it.

When I reply or quote I can see the youtube links but not the player. With Firefox I can't edit or delete my posts either. I hate that @#$%^&* browser.  >:(  It's a PITA. No wonder less than 1 out of 5 people use it.

I have the latest version, 3.0.3, and it was already up to date but not working right. Now it is for some reason and I can reply, quote, modify, preview, and all that. I didn't do anything to it. Maybe it just doesn't like Vista, but it's supposed to work with all Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. I've been using IE 6 and then IE 7 as long as I've had a computer and only have a problem with it on this thread and the one about toys. So I switch to Firefox to see them then switch back to what I like. Internet Explorer 8 is in Beta 2 now and as soon as it's out of Beta I'll switch to it. I tried Safari very briefly and didn't like it. So far I haven't tried Opera.

Same here (knock on wood). But I have both on my desktop because on the Alltel mobile website I can't make changes to my cell phone accounts. Their web site has a message on the menu page that it only works with IE6 or higher. I use IE8 for that site and FireFox for everything else. The main reason I loaded Firefox was to make using the DRTV chatroom easier.
Don't know what might be Frank's problem other than the Vista thing. I still have XP.

Yep, cause it (Vista) has me too!.  The last post I see on page 26 is M'ettes and there is no place for me to post comments.  It wasn't until the thread rolled to  page 27 that things got normal, though page 26 is still screwed up for me.
