Hard Cello Music
« on: November 20, 2014, 04:00:02 PM »
Don't know if anyone is into "Hard Cello" music, but these two guys were shredding their bows in this performance.  I suspect the audience reaction was staged though.

I guess this is what happens when a kid wants to be a rock star but their parents make them play the cello.

The Thunderstruck video was the first one of theirs that I saw but they did a lot of different songs. Many more videos on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=two+cellos

In tracking down stuff by  2 Cellos, I came across a couple of young brothers who are doing the same thing.

They appeared on America's Got Talent and did Hendrix...  a very nice back story to these guys is presented too.

Considering I can't play the cello, it's all hard to me.  ;)   :o

I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo
