I'm glad I'm inside where it's toasty warm, because my weather app says it's 20 but only feels like 10 degrees. I had no idea. I'm getting ready to go to bed and hopefully sleep all day. Maybe it will be warmer Thursday when I have to go out.

28 with freezing fog this morning.  Ice on fences, power lines, trees, etc.  It is supposed to melt soon....I hope the forecast is right.

Single digits now. It's 8 degrees and feels like 8 degrees. Actually it feels like 68 degrees to me. ;)

Here in Western North Carolina we woke up to 28 degrees.  Not too bad, but my antique fuel oil boiler gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago and we are depending on a couple of mini-splits to keep us warm. They aren't doing a bad job and get the bedroom up to 72 in no time at all.  We run a fire in the fireplace during the evening so we stay comfortable.

The fireplace is a good thing to have.  I have a wood stove in the house but too much stuff stored around it right now to fire it up.  Single digits like Frank has...HELL NO...I ain't wanting that.

For the last 5 days or so we haven't been below 26 but we only have 4-6 hours above freezing during the day.  Which is burdensome to say the least when you have outdoor chores.  I had to put heaters in all of the water troughs....early by a month.

It 28 degrees here in Michigan 2 1/2 hours after sunset, which was before 5 pm, BTW. This is the only time of the year we need Daylight Saving Time, and the only time of the year we don't have it. The "feels like" temp is 28 too, and single digit temps are rare, but that was better than the sub-0 I heard was predicted when several states took the plunge.

14 degrees right now.  Ugghhh.   This is too early in the season for this kind cold.

It's 5 degrees but feels like 12 below zero at 10 in the morning. Even if it does warm up to 20 this afternoon, I think it would be a good day to stay in watching TV, eating, and sleeping. You know, the things I'm best at.
