I miss Krispy Kreme. They used to about 2 miles down the road from me. I'm not sure why they closed but I have a good idea. When you could go it a get a fresh, hot glazed donut for free, I saw black women going in with so many kids they couldn't possibly all be theirs, unless they had twins and triplets every year for 3-5 years. And after they got a free dozen or however many donuts they basically stole, they left. Meanwhile, honest white folks like me would eat a free glazed donut while we were paying for another dozen or more, or picking out a dozen mixed donuts to go. Krispy Kreme didn't owe me any reparations, but a bunch of Flint blacks must have felt like they were owed an endless supply of free donuts. I'm not saying any of this because of any racist beliefs, just what I saw with my own eyes. Not all black people are like that, some are better than a lot of white people I've met, but the good, hard-working ones don't make up for all of the "takers".
