A half hour before daybreak Tuesday a large group of protesters, 99+% of the melanin-rich variety, decided to march down a main highway through the city. None of them had flashlights or reflective vests. They had no police escort, because the police had no idea they were going to walk down a busy highway in the dark while first shift workers were on their way to their jobs. Someone driving a pickup truck didn't see all these black people in the middle of his lane in the dark, panic braked and hit some of them, and another truck.

I saw a video where he was being threatened by a black man beating on his window. Because that's what you do when the people next to you get hit by a truck. You don't check to see if they're okay, you just try to drag the driver out of the truck and beat him like he's Reginald Denny. It started as a protest organized by Fight for $15 who's trying to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour for fast-food workers and others. It was attended by the Democratic candidate for Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, and our Democratic Mayor Karen Weaver. The Mayor was on TV later saying she didn't know they were going to march after the rally.

The uninjured protesters piled into buses to go to more protests. The police didn't charge the driver who wasn't intoxicated and did nothing wrong. They should charge all of the people who staged a march without a permit. If you're going to play in traffic don't do it at rush hour or in the dark. My parents taught me better when I was a toddler. It still amazes me how many adults lack even a small child's good sense.

How long before one of these "events" results in:
1. a Protestor banging on the window of a vehicle is shot and killed.
2. The driver of that car would then be:
      a. Killed by the mob.
      b. Forced to kill more protestors in self-defense.
      c. Convicted of murder by some Liberal court.

This was on a public road. The highway they were on has had a 45 MPH speed limit since I was a kid, until they raised it to 50 MPH, last year I think. Anyway it was in public with no carry restrictions that don't apply on any other public road in the state.

50 MPH pickup truck + black people walking down the frickin' highway like they own it, in the dark = less injuries that if I was driving. My reflexes have never been very good.

There must be a law keeping black people off the sidewalks. Even if it's just one person they walk right down the middle of the street, or the middle of the right lane with their backs to traffic like these idiots. Maybe they're just daring everyone to hit them.

Over the weekend someone put a sign between the sidewalk and the curb that said something like go out and vote November 6th. I barely looked at it and didn't see any candidate's name in big letters as usual, so I thought okay, I will. Monday when I got my mail I took a better look at it. Then I saw that it was this bunch of @$$clowns who put a sign with their agenda on it in my yard without even asking my permission. The nerve of some people! I took it down and cut it into pieces, which went into my garbage bag and out to the curb.

In other news: The police arrested a man in July who was accused of raping hundreds of women. When police searched his home they found nearly 500 Hi8 video tapes and hundreds more VHS tapes they believe contain images of rapes.
