But you get to re-use most of your "ammo".  Can't be T-H-A-T expensive.
Will work for ammo

Then again, the things that technology has brought.  LED lites so you can find the arrow..  How cool.  Like tracers for archers

Have you seen how much arrows cost?

The arrows I like are about $215/dozen for the bare shaft
The ss inserts are 40 for 12
Light knocks $11 each
Field points are $1 each
The gr micro hades 3 blades in 100 grains are 40/3( replace blades each time you shot an animal $25 for the 3 broad heads)
Flechings are cheap at .15 each

I am slinging $47 arrows, plus my time to cut and fletch them.  The amount of glue is a few cents per arrow, so not counted.  I don't use wraps or that would add an extra 1-2 dollars per arrow.

I love lighted knocks, let you see the arrow in flight so much easier. They even have them that strobe different  colors, I was not a fan of those.

Targets are also expensive.  I have some bags and some foams...
https://www.morrelltargets.com/collections/foam-targets/products/big-high-roller.  I love this thing, but in 3 months I have shot out 4 sides.  I have a few bags as well which work great, but field point only.

I am shooting lots, over 100 arrows a day.  Yesterday, I did 300.  When I shoot broad heads it eats up targets.

And I have a new ( used) bow in route.  Lol

Bought  more bows this year than guns...

You know what they say about toys...

If you can afford  them and have the room they  are no problem... unless the wife finds out how much you spent on them.

Every time I think of my Rock Island pistol windfall, I thank God it wasn't rifles.
I would have had to move.   ;D
