So it’s been about 10 years

Like the subject line says, it’s been about a decade since I’ve logged in here.
What did I miss?

Not a hell of a lot. The board has been pretty slow for the last several years. But welcome back!

Oh my gosh.  You won’t believe it, but…. I can’t begin to tell you. If I had more time I’d fill you in.


Actually not much.

Somebody got a new gun.  Somebody did some mods to their gun. Somebody’s gun broke and they sent it off.a few people went to matches, on vacation or a business trip.  Politics.  The world’s going to hell in a hand basket. Some people got hobbies, like radio, cameras or girl watching.

Oh man, AKOS.  Alf and Les have kept us up on competition stuff.  Alf has some really cool reloading tips regarding automation he engineered.  Tab is still building stuff in his early retirement.  Billt slips in every now and again.

Good to see the OGs are still around.
Yeah, politics, WuFlu, (redundancy warning)…girl watching is a hobby? Well I’ve got another hobby then!
I haven’t bought a new toy in years sad to say.

I did however FINALLY cough up the cash for a Geissele large pin trigger for my
Colt AR Colt Match Target Competition. (the Slick Willy approved ban model)
The lower I HATED is now one of my faves. I actually hadn’t used the lower for forever because the trigger was so bad and I had a lower with good trigger.

Now gone are the 3 different trigger “stages” in the Colt. 1st crunch was just because, 2nd crunch was BFYTW and the 3rd crunch actually fired the gun.
Now it’s a shooter! Groups better than it has a right to considering the clamshell forend attaching to the A2 front sight/gasblock.  :)

Glad to see you back.

There are a few of us still on here regularly and some have went through on/off again seasons due to life things.
The book of face has lured quite a few away from here but some OG's are here only and some of us are on both formats.
I think this forum saw a little uptick in posting since the Chiney-Flu when FB got even more censor-prone concerning conservative posting.
