Sounds like a loin cloth for a trannie....

 ;D

The orange baton is a $50+ item and that loin cloth...depending on how big it its :) is $10 to $25.

I never heard of that before but did a search and it looks like a lot of people are using it to wrap telephoto lenses and other stuff they don't want covered in dust. I see some definite 2A applications if this is what you got. Or a "tucking" application if you cross dress. ;D  And I got another bonus credit. Thanks. You can have it if you want. I think it's only good for 2 weeks and I don't plan on buying anything right now.

I had a Regal Blue Baton 4 before I got the Baton 4 Fighter Pilot - Premium with a charging case. The Premium costs $40 more than the light alone when they aren't on sale. I got the first light on sale, then the second one with the case on sale later. They have a Charging Case for Baton 4 for $39.99 in Black only. I would recommend buying one if they have a good sale on it or it's part of a DIY bundle for 40% off.

Features

Multi-functional Companion: Powered by a 5000mAh battery, the case can fully charge the Baton 4 flashlight 5 times, giving the flashlight a max runtime of 190 days. It can also charge your mobile devices for emergencies with its USB-C port.

All Things Done With A Press: The digital display button on the case shows the remaining power; just press the button to light up the flashlight directly, and long press to achieve stepless dimming, allowing simultaneous charging and lighting in your hand.

Home For Six Lights: The case is fully compatible with Baton 4 and Baton 3 and supports storing and charging the S1R II, Perun Mini, Perun 2 Mini and Perun 3 Mini.

When I put my Baton 4s in the case they have stepless brightening, and dimming when you hold the button again, all while the light is in the case. And when I put my Baton 3 in, it does the same thing. The Baton 4 won't fit in the Baton 3 case, but some of the older lights this size will. The Baton 3 case is a little smaller and I have a belt holster for it. The tailor-made wireless charger features a built-in 3.6V 3500mAh battery and can charge the Baton 3 up to 3.7 times. Notice: USB-C Charging Cable is included. It looks like they quit making the Baton 3 but still have the charging cases, in Black only, for 10% less than the Baton 4 case that does so much more. They don't make a holster for it, not yet anyway, so I attached the lanyard to mine. The Fighter Pilot Baton 4 looks good with a blue clip on it so I replaced the gold one that was on it with one I previously put on my blue Baton 4 to replace the silver clip. I put the gold clip on the blue Baton 4 for now, but may buy another blue clip later. The gold clip looks good with the silver bezel and button, so I may keep it this way.

I ordered a Shadow Dune i3T EOS Small Flashlight Sunday. I didn't want to miss out on my free gift, and I did want to use the few bucks I had in rewards. Since this is the i3T EOS, and not the i3T 2 EOS, it just takes a AAA battery, and you're not supposed to put a 10440 lithium cell in it. The i3T 2 comes with an included AAA battery which gives it 200 lumens, but you can also use a 10440 Li-ion battery, which can boost the maximum output up to 300 lumens. This one is just 180 lumens, and 5 on low. It's still twice the lumens of the i3E EOS Keychain Flashlight, which is 90 lumens, with no high and low.

The keychain flashlight s supposed to last 45 minutes with an alkaline battery. The 180 lumen light will only run 21 minutes on high, but 16 hours on low. The 200 lumen light is supposed to run 21 hours on low, 5 extra hours on the same battery in the same size flashlight. And it will run for 7 minutes at 200 lumens before cutting down to 100 lumens and running an additional 28 minutes. Compared to the i3T, the 2nd generation gets 31% more battery life, and 71% more runtime in High mode. They optimized the circuit to ensure its surface temperature is less than 113 degrees even during long-time work. It's a better light all around, but the gen 1 had this cool camo pattern and I wanted it. I hope my Christmas gift is the Stars & Stripes Edition, or the Summer Palm. I already have a couple of the 18th Anniversary Editions, and they don't look as good to me a the other 2.

Hey, PegLeg, I have a Yellow Diamond early access card for you that's good until the end of the year. You'll be able to get the same deals I do for 24 hours. If you don't want it, it's up for grabs. One thing they had was a Baton 4 Premium flashlight with charging case for 50% off. It was a limited edition Splashed Ink - Laser Engraved White Teflon model, but it already sold out. It's a better deal than I got on my Fighter Pilot Premium Baton 4, but I didn't want another Baton 4. I already have a Regal Blue Baton 4 to use with the charging case, and 2 of them, plus the other lights I can charge in the case is enough.

My Shadow Dune i3T EOS Small Flashlight came this afternoon. The picture on the box was solid desert tan. I wasn't too worried about it, because when they have multi-color, limited-edition flashlights, the boxes don't always have the correct pictures. The other time this happened to me was when I got the black and white plaid flashlights. They came in boxes that show a solid black flashlight on the front. One of them hasn't been opened yet, but I wrote PLAID on the box so I know which one it is. My Christmas freebie was the Stars & Stripes edition. I would have rather had the Summer Palm keychain light, but this was my second choice and I'm okay with it.

The Army Combat Uniform (ACU) has 2 pen pockets on the left sleeve, big enough for a regular ballpoint pen in the narrower one, and a fine point Sharpie in the wider one to fit with ease. I have a StatGear SKRAWL Tactical Pen in the small pocket and had a an OD Green i3T 2 EOS in the wider pocket. But I put the new Shadow Dune i3T EOS in its place because it's camo. I don't care if the brown camo matches better of worse than OD green, it's camo, and camo is camo so they go together. :)  Even though it's not made to use a 10440 lithium battery, I took the one out of the other light and put it in.

The SKRAWL is on sale for $21.99 instead of $49.99. I think it's always on sale. It's machined from aircraft grade aluminum and features a carbide tip window breaker. It comes with a Schmidt 4889 pressurized black ink cartridge that allows it to write in the rain and upside down like a space pen. It's short enough to not take up much room, but not challenging to use like some "pocket size" pens. I like the semi-triangular grip. When I put the tips of my index finger and thumb together, and slide my middle finger underneath, I look down and see a triangle shaped hole for a pen to fit in. It's more ergonomic than a round pen which always hurt my finger if I wrote very much. A circle has a tiny point of contact compared to one of the flats on this pen, and they rub me the wrong way, right on the knuckle.

I got the wife a Baton 1k lumen light to go in her deer hunting kit.
Tiny package but big illumination.
They sent a free key chain light like I already have so she can put it on hers.
I use mine every day. We're odd in that we don't use outdoor lighting a lot. I like a dark yard when I'm not out there in it. It's great to illuminate the area between the truck and porch and getting the door unlocked.

I have a small light on my keychain, an imini 2 Rechargeable (50 lumens) now, and an i1R 2 Pro (180 lumens on high and 5 lumens on low) before that. I went from 0.78 oz down to  0.69 oz., Actually it has to be more because it's titanium instead of aluminum. Either way, you just pull the tiny light out of the magnetic base and it turns on instantly, and it turns off when you pop it back in. It can't get much more convenient than that. I have an i1R 2 EOS, 150 lumens on high and 5 on low (0.46 ounces), on my ATV key ring with the remote control for my winch and some other stuff. I have to take the ATV key off and use it by itself, because anything, even a small key fob, can turn the key off when it hits the gas tank as you move the handlebars back and forth. The other handful of stuff goes in the cargo box under the front rack.

So far I haven't used any of the keychain lights much because I usually have a bigger light in my left front pocket. Currently I have an ArkPro flashlight with a 1,500-lumen floodlight, 800-lumen spotlight, UV light, and green laser in an ArkPro holster. After carrying similar size lights in my pocket for so long, it's hard getting used to putting it back in the holster, but now I can get my hand in my pocket without taking a flashlight out first. I have an Olight flashlight in the center console of my Yukon that I can't tell you much about. It's not a catalog item and I got it on sale, on the condition I don't blab about it because it's a trial item. If I talk I may lose the privilege of being able to get trial items. It may end up being a production item, and if it does, I hope they make the change I suggested. We'll see. It it does show up as a regular thing, I'll be sure to post about it. And show what's different about mine, if anything.

I gave my friends the Olight Limited Edition Christmas Gift Box, but I don't know who gets which flashlight yet. There were only 3,000 sets made for the whole world to share. That's something like 1 for every 2.8 million people IIRC. For my friends who aren't just 1 in a million. :)  They made more than 3,000 of the green lights, but not the red ones or the sets they're in.

<snip>We're odd in that we don't use outdoor lighting a lot. I like a dark yard when I'm not out there in it. <snip>

Same here.  I put up motion detector lights for yard lights and some solar powered motion lights for tight areas or areas without power in places with high traffic where someone would be bumping into something or tripping.  I have solar motion lights every 20' on a 600' long driveway along the pasture.  They stay on for about 1/2 a minute...it's pretty neat to call my dogs and see those lights coming on as they run down the driveway.

One of the better ones...not solar or AC power but batteries...are the NetBright lights that communicate wirelessly.  The batteries are D cells and typically last a year under moderate use.  They have several channels and when one on that channel goes off on motion they all come on.  I've used them for years and they are great except you need to put a little RTV across the threads to keep water out when replacing batteries.  They really are impressive when one lights up several of them...a single light motion detector gets a ho hum reaction but 4 or 5 situated about puts doubt in a miscreants heart.  https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mr-Beams-MBN352-Wireless-Motion-Sensing-200-Lumen-LED-NetBright-Networked-Spotlights-Brown-2-Pack/818443174?classType=REGULAR
