I might order a few of those, Rastus. They look like the perfect thing for all four corners of my shop and pole barn as well as my back deck to provide quick lighting to enter or leave.

One of the better ones...not solar or AC power but batteries...are the NetBright lights that communicate wirelessly.  The batteries are D cells and typically last a year under moderate use.  They have several channels and when one on that channel goes off on motion they all come on.  I've used them for years and they are great except you need to put a little RTV across the threads to keep water out when replacing batteries.  They really are impressive when one lights up several of them...a single light motion detector gets a ho hum reaction but 4 or 5 situated about puts doubt in a miscreants heart.  https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mr-Beams-MBN352-Wireless-Motion-Sensing-200-Lumen-LED-NetBright-Networked-Spotlights-Brown-2-Pack/818443174?classType=REGULAR

I ordered a pair of these to try out.
I mounted them 90° of each other on a 4x4 post facing where we park and the other facing the porch... that way it catches us coming out and going in.
Perfect amount of light.

I that they are wirelessly linked to each other so when one comes on they can all come on Now I got to order more.

I got an Olight ArkPro Ultra today. It's an internal test sale for the ArkPro Ultra's new color variant, and I can't show it to you. But it slides in and out of the same holster that I struggle to pull the ArkPro out of. It's a max of 1,700 lumens instead of 1,500, and it has an Arkbeat. After 256 (?) hours of use I can set it to the color I want.

I am glad you are liking those netbrights.  I hope they don't disappoint you.

Instead of thread tape, I used black electrical tape around the seam to help shed water.

I like good old 3M brand vinyl electrical tape. It's thicker than some of the cheap, generic stuff. You can stretch it pretty good to get a tight fit of lots of things. Or to hold stuff together like a clamp while you're waiting for adhesive to set. I buy 5 packs of it at The Homie Depot.

Today's trivia. The 3M Company was originally called the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. I couldn't remember exactly what it was, but knew it was Minnesota something and had to look it up.
