« on: November 23, 2024, 09:28:14 AM »
The misses is having me take her to costco on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.   Her exact words were: " wr need your truck"

I have a feeling that this will hurt my head, back and wallet. :o ;D :'(

.... AND FEET

We just did our annual holiday shopping there yesterday.  The clerk exclaimed that our bill was more than her car payment.  Of course we won't go back again until March.

I am on my feet 12+ hours a day.   My feet will be fine.  I walk at least 10 miles a day while working

Hey, I did it (yesterday), and I'm a damn-sight older than you are. It was a mess (especially as they had recalled their bagels for some unknown reason and we had to do without), but we survived, even had a hotdog for lunch.

Suck it up, buttercup!!!!!    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We definitely  needed my 3/4 ton truck.

I bought 1 thing, just under a 100 tp fill up the truck.

I don't want to think about what she spent, let's just say a lot and leave it at that.

You know our society is spiraling every downwards when FDA makes Costco recall their butter.   Seems it was mislabeled.  They forgot the warning, "CONATINS MILK".

I'm guessing some folks in DC have no idea what butter really is.  I wonder if on the milk containers now they'll say, "contains butter"?

BTB, I check last week to make sure they had corrected the problem.

Labels like that are for the same idiots they have to keep telling in medication ads, do not take if you're allergic to it. Let the idiots take medicine they know they're allergic to. Thin out the heard and earn a Darwin Award. It's a win-win situation. They have to be told on warning labels not to use a hair dryer in the shower. Please remove the labels. PLEASE! And when they bathe, let them make toast.
