I'm glad you found it helpful. I have a Maglula BenchLoader too that's great for loading mags at home ahead of time. It's small enough to take to the range, but too big to carry on you. The MagRipper fits in a GI first aid/compass pouch with plenty of room left over. They had custom-made pouches by Tactical Tailor for 30 bucks, but have been out of stock every time I checked. Tactical Tailor makes some seriously well-built gear. They came in 4 colors and have a MALICE clip that uses one MOLLE slot. The "No Bad D'EH" Clip Loader also fits in a GI first aid pouch, and is thin enough to fit inside with a MagRipper, but the flap is >1" too short to snap shut with both of them in it. My .45 pistol double mag pouches are too small to hold the Magripper, and everything else I have is too big. Maye some day I'll find a pouch that holds both items together, just right.

I found a pouch for the MagRipper. Not ideal, but better than nothing. It's an old Gramin GPS case I picked up somewhere, for a GPS model I didn't have. I tried using it as a phone holster IIRC, and it's just been lying here the last few years. It's a strange case -- the Velcro flap fastens to the inside of it instead of the outside.

I found what may be the best pouch available for the MagRipper and Clip Loader. And I stuck a Maglula UpLULA universal pistol magazine loader 9mm – .45ACP in the Garmin pouch instead. It loads and unloads virtually all 9mm Luger up to .45ACP single and double-stack magazines of all manufacturers, from the first second round to the last. I always load the first round by hand instead of having the steel beak running over my plastic mag followers. It’s the world’s #1 best-selling and most trusted magazine loader since 2006.

I found what looked like it will be a great offset optic mount for my 20" AR that currently has a Picatinny riser on it that I cobbled together. I got it from T-Rex Arms. It's my understanding that the company was started by a guy in some weird religious cult that thinks women should live with their parents until they're married, then crank out as many babies as possible for the rest of their lives. But he's no longer a part of the company. I guess this weirdo and his wife still have 2 of their half dozen or so adult daughters living at home. I'm not going to let that stop me from getting an $80 red dot mount that looks like it will suit my needs better than a 2-piece Arisaka Defense mount that costs $125.00.

While shopping for the red dot mount I found the T.REX Medium Item Pouch (MIP), a multi-purpose pouch that will fit one AR-15/M4 magazine (STANAG/PMAG) and similarly sized items, such as smoke grenades or SMG magazines. The pouch does not rely on MALICE clips, instead there are MOLLE webbing straps sewn onto the back so that you can install it on your gear as soon as you receive it. The pouch is lined inside with loop field and the pouch flap is fully adjustable or can be removed entirely to run the pouch slick or to use pull tab bungees on the built-in loops. They're $35 in 3 solid colors, and $38 in 2 camo patterns. There's a Wolf Grey one on closeout in the Boneyard for $28.00, but I didn't want a gray one. They have a good overview video on these on their site.

I wanted to get the inside of the flap Velcroed in as deep as possible, to shorten up the the flap when it's fastened. I cut a piece of cardboard off the box it was shipped in and stuck it in the pouch. Then I slid the flap down in as far as I could reach, slid the cardboard out, and stuck the flap in place. I have the built-in Molle straps fastened so the loops are big enough to slide over my 1.5" EDC belt or a 1.75 belt. I also bought a T.REX Tourniquet Pouch. They're also normally $35 or $38, but I got a Muticam factory second from the Boneyard for $10 off, and got a North American Rescue Gen. 7 C-A-T (Combat Application Tourniquet) for 30 bucks, which seemed like a good price, since they're $33.99 if you order one directly from NAR.
