I had a little bit of excitement today. I heard beep, beep, beep like a truck backing up. When I looked out my front door there was a sheriff's paramedic SUV parked right in front of my house with no one in it. Right behind it, in front of my neighbor's driveway was an ECNALUBMA, at least that's what it said on the front of it.

After a couple of minutes, 2 paramedics wheeled a stretcher up the next driveway and the sidewalk and up to my neighbor's house. I don't even know the new neighbors on that side of me. After what seemed like a long time, they wheeled out the stretcher with a woman on it, loaded her in the ambulance and climbed in with her. Then the sheriff's paramedic and a guy came out, the guy went back to the house, then the paramedic went back. I stood there watching for a long time and nothing happened. When I went to the bathroom the sheriff's paramedic took off, and the ambulance left shortly after.
A couple days ago, I did a little weed whacking after I pushed that fence post over with my ATV. A car must have hit it going in the driveway. It was leaning over so far I couldn't mow next to the fence, so I straightened it up. I put some new line on the string trimmer I bought last year. It was the first time and I used left over .080" line instead of the .065" it's supposed to take. I didn't even fill the spool halfway, because I don't know if it's going to work or not. I really need to mow, and will do it if we go a couple days without rain. My yard is usually one of the better cared for around here, and having look it like that is kind of embarrassing.
