Man if you like working with horses have I got the place for you.  You don't even have to pay to enjoy your time tending the horses.

I love horses, but have never had the money for them, and now I no longer have the space.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

My uncles used to have 3 Belgian Draft horses on the farm in the U.P. but, IIRC, they didn't have the furry legs that some do. Maybe they were American Belgian Draft horses. All I can say for sure is that they were huge, but not as big as Brooklyn Supreme or Big Jake. Brooklyn Supreme stood 19.2 hands (6 ft 6 in) tall and weighed 3,200 lb with a girth of 10 ft 2 in. Each of his horseshoes required 30 in of iron. :o  Big Jake became the Guinness World Records "tallest living horse" when he was measured in 2010 at 20.2 3⁄4 hands (82.75 inches). He also became the second-tallest horse on record, after Sampson (foaled 1846). The Budweiser Clydesdale's may look prettier, but can't do the work of Belgians.

My dad loved horses and really enjoyed watching horse pulling contests at the county fair. My brothers and I were more interested in tractor pulls and demolition derbies. We saw one tractor that pulled in 2 different weight classes. It had 2 engines n the front, and a 3rd engine between the rear wheels in the heavy weight class. And they pulled the rear engine out to pull in the lighter weight class. I still remember the Ford Mustang I saw in a demolition derby. The back end got hit so many times it folded over until it looked like an AMC Gremlin. The bottom of the car wasn't on top, but it was getting there.
