China, through the communist party, had been bragging that Trump was all bluster and would not strike. They also were making claims to the international community that with China's most advanced radar in place that the US airpower would be humbled and the US shamed. Additionally, on the day of the attack Maduro had just met with Chinese officials to craft a mutual defense pact. I thought it strange why Secretary of War Hegseth would make statements about US airpower defeating radar...now we know why. So apparently, China's Silk Road initiative ran into a brick wall and got owned by Trump's international chess game.
Next we see Russia's international boasting return to them as egg on their face. Russia's economy is in no shape to support a larger conventional war. They cannot support their friends, especially the parasitic Cuban communist. So Cuba's communist regime has been relying on Venezuelan crude oil to survive and as an income stream as they launder the money for the shadow fleet. Oops...now it's not just Venezuela that's on the ropes...the Maduro action has tremendously impacted Cuba in a serious way. And with the shadow fleet being Russian owned yet flagged elsewhere losing ships which sell sanctioned Russian oil impacts the Russian economy in a bad way. Now 5 down and that's significant. Also significant is that Russia had sent a submarine and surface ships to protect the two tankers we took in the Atlantic yesterday....oops, more egg on their face. Russian understand strength...nothing else...and the narrative just became very unfriendly and to them and their propaganda has now returned again to them as egg on their face as they did NOTHING to challenge our acquisition of Russian tankers.
Consider our strike on Iran to take out their nuclear program. Iran is an ally of Russia and China. China gets a lot of oil from Iran and, to some extent, relies upon the Russian shadow fleet of tankers that is now reduced x 5. Today millions of Iranians are protesting and the Iranian government is on the ropes with multiple reports of Russian cargo planes flying gold our of Iran to safeguard it for the Iranian leadership. This uprising can go either way but...China is taking a hit on oil supplies from Iran (and don't forget a hit from Venezuela as well) which is going to hit China in the economy and their ability to support an attack on Taiwan. And remember...China just got schooled about their vaunted radar and anti-aircraft systems alongside with the Russian systems that Maduro owned.
This is actually breathtaking. Trump has advanced the international chess game at breathtaking speed using specific occurrences or black swan events to advance strategic interests. BRICS nations (primarily Russian, China, Iran, India, Brazil, Egypt among the others) have had their economic agenda to overturn the world order established from WWII turned on end. It's most doubtful we will ever see another WWII type of war or even another Vietnam but rest assured we are at war. Russia has stated through various mouthpieces that the war began in 2014 and the chicoms announced it in 2019. It is not a kinetic war per se' but it is a war which included causing internal upheaval by supporting unchecked immigration....you did not think that was not a financed and planned operation did you? The demoncrats were only too happy to ignorantly support this initiative to weaken us from within in order to support their selfish objectives for power and wealth.
So now we are taking that 5th tanker. China and Russia are going to have to recalculate their plans because of losing Venezuela, Iran's leadership problems, Cuba's upcoming crisis and the impact to their international standings. The Columbian president had paid for and gathered 5-6 thousand communist supporters the day before yesterday at an anti-US/anti-Trump rally. He was an hour late and most everyone left and those who stayed for the rally were anything but super worked up. Why...because Trump had him on the phone and for some strange reason right before and then during the rally. When the Columbian president got to the rally he did not talk bad about Trump...which was his point...seems he was somewhat neutered.
Greenland...China and Russia were eying it. It is not only a strategic mineral resource but a strategic military resource...resources we cannot afford to lose if we want to continue as the preeminent world power. How is it going to work out...who knows? An agreement to work together, we buy it but there is no way we will go in militarily and take it without a Chinese or Russian presence there. Think back the UK and their empire...the Brits aren't the power they once were as they lost much of their empire during WWII and then retreated further by not reclaiming what was theirs going so far as to give away Hong Kong to the Chinese. Do you suspect that Trump knew what he was doing last year when he told the Panamanians to kick the Chinese out of operating the Panama Canal they were violating the contract/agreement by using them....of course he knew what he was doing.
All of these strategic accomplishments in a year. Breathtaking. More to come. Hang on.
