I do not miss the days of changing points and plugs every time you turned around.

I used to do the light stuff on my El Camino, plugs filters and whatnot....
At my age now, I have no desire to do that stuff any more!  Can't on the Buick or Slingshot with all that electrical hooey now days.

Slingshot?!? I want a ride.

And...I may be banned for saying this....I really do love fuel injection as opposed to those finicky damn carburetors.

And unleaded gas for the maintenance it saves us.

15 quarts of oil? How many engines you got in that rig? The truck I drove in the army took about 20 quarts of oil, but had an engine that weighed 1,650 pounds, if what I read online was right.

I knew it was diesel, but not how big. That's 444 cu. in. in freedom units. Pretty darned big, by any standard. Mine is 376 cu. in. and puts out 403 hp. That's 1.07 HP/cu. in., and enough to get the old SUV up to 117 mph, but it won't hit 120 like it probably did 15 years ago.

15 Qts?...A paltry amount of oil, The Mack and Internationals I used to work on would hold 72 quarts and have 2 oil filters. Thank God for bulk oil pumps.  ;D ;D
