You can help get a Sears card for a military family.  You can see the wishes they have, but the top ten are a downright selfless (selfless!) cry for help to buy their children the basics.  Shoes, pajamas, sweaters, coats, shirts...all for their children.

Number one on the list....shoes for the little boy or girl at $25.  This is beyond sad for the children who's parents are dying for us...$25.  And we are bailing out Wall Street.  What have we become?  What must be in the hearts of those mothers and fathers?

Anyway, I encourage all to give if you have a job and can.

Good on Sears.

This bears repeating.

And forwarding to ALL our e-mail friends.
I even sent it to all my elected officials in-boxes, just to hammer home the point that that our armed forces should be better taken care of by the country they are fighting and dying for.

**EDIT: Wrote a brief statement alluding to the needs of our service peoples needs (better pay for one) and sent to my elected officials. I even sent an e-mail letter and copy of it to Pelosi's SotH address just to see if I get a response. Already got 2 automated responses from my senators. Ususally takes a couple of weeks for a written reply from their offices.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
