My first attempt.   I couldn't quite get my eyes to focus perfectly on the indoor range, so I may try again on an outdoor range next week.   Rifle next week too.

Nice shooting!

Don't you just love that Buckmark?
If it quits raining, I'm going to try to get to the range myself with mine.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

RE:  Buck Mark.   HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I had been wanting to retire my MK I and at the same time not buy another Ruger.   The BM feels good and obviously shoots well.   This was with standard iron sights.  No FO or Holo or red dot.  Mines the URX Contour.  I like the looks of it, though now I'm not certain I'll put any optics on it.  Still the full length mounting rail looks good.

I didn't have the right combination of contacts and shooting glasses for indoor shooting so my front sight wasn't all that in focus.  Next week, I'll go to an outdoor range and try again.    I'm also going to see what my 686 w/ 8-3/8" barrel will do at 25yds with .38spl wadcutters.

Wifey and I went out yesterday to generate some entries. I got a target with my 1911 (here's to YOU Gunman1911) and amazingly I got a better target with the MB M&P. She got one nice group with her S&W 686, then the weather just got SO bad we had to bail.  The targets got all wrinkled and soaked from the cold, 100% humidity.
We'll go back and try it again when the weather clears.

It's nice to have a good reason to punch paper.
I got the blues as my companion.

I'm in, any excuse to shoot is a good one for me.

I went to the range this Sunday.  If I keep shooting like I did it looks like I will just send a donation sans targets!  ;D

Okay guys and gals.  Let's start sending in the entries.   Went to the outdoor range.  Gusts at 15mph.   :-[  Wouldn't have been bad except they use target carriers hanging from a wire.  So not only were they swinging wildly at times but bouncing up and down as well.   [long sigh]  Shooting between gusts these are my best ones.  Also improved on my 10yard BuckMark target.  Being outdoors definitely helps my tired old eyes.
