So there should be no punishment for crime, and the old saying that if you can't do the time don't do the crime doesn't fit any more  ???

We had a situation where they swept through our area a while back on wide sweeping raids.  There was an outcry similar to the Speaker's.  However, they came through again a couple weeks ago with warrants for specific illegals that committed other crimes, and they hauled out nearly as many.    Is that the next thing she will be moving to end ... crack downs on all crimes committed  ???

By the way, even as obvious as the big green buses are when they roll in, the way most of us learn of the sweeps is when the counselors and support system workers converge on the schools to help the kids.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

For 6 long years, we had George W as pres, and a Republican majority in both houses of congress, and what in the heck did they do about the flood of illegal aliens? Oh yeah I remember now, they passed a resolution that said: " We never saw an illegal alien butt we didn't want to kiss."
Promptly endorsed by Jorge Arbusto.
