You may remember Norm Koger, he of computer war game fame. Well, he didn't drop off the face of the planet if you knew where to find him.
Anyway, Storm Eagle Studios is his new baby and boy, has he done some remarkable things with 3d and commercial naval warfare computer simulations. Sights and sounds, and ballistics are amazing...yes, you can see the 16" shells as they reach their zenith and 'hang' before continuing on, and they sound like freight trains as they whizz by (if you're lucky). I have the Russo-Japanese game, and enjoyed it immensely. He just released Jutland today.
As a kid, I had the AH board game for Jutland, and used to move the little ships around with the gauge on my ping pong table. Computers are so much easier, lol.
Here's a link to the Jutland screens, enjoy!
