What those hot heads talk about on "those other forums"

Topic title: Pulled the G30 on my wife last night.


So, its 3:30 in the morning and I hear my wife's dog barking (chihuaua/rat ter. mix).... it barks so much that I don't pay attention to it. Then my dog started barking (boxer) and I immediately grabbed my G30 out of its holster and look out of my door down the hallway (we live in an apt. building). I see that the front door is open and I make ready and say to myself... "Its on cuz". I check the guest bedroom to see if my wife was in there, she wasn't, I turn on the light... and as soon as I did that the door flings open. I raise my weapon and as soon as I did that, her forehead met my barrel.

I asked her what in the world was she doing, and she told me that there were 2 cats outside fighting and she couldn't sleep.

She scared the crap out of me!



Yeah, like I said..... hot head.

Lack of communication, she could have let her husband know that she was checking the situation.  And he could have called for his wife if he was concerned enough to sweep the place with a gun, "honey where are you?", in a normal non alert voice.

Yeah.. for sure. 
I can't imagine waking up . finding your spouse not in bed..and not calling out to her first.. Before you locked and cocked it.

Kinda jumpy isn't he? I get up several times in the  night . If Marshal jumped up every time and grabbed his gun, he wouldn't get any sleep. But of course if I hear something that is suspicious.. I just get MY gun and go check it out and let him sleep.
