It's sad, but expected, that the media would describe this situation in such a way to make it sound like every gun owner's day would be made if you got the opportunity to shoot another person.
Its terrible that they take this life altering event so lightly, an event like this could destroy families, the victim's and criminal attacker's and forever impact the victims who have to defend themselves. Even though you can tell yourself, with no reservations, that you were %100 justified in your actions, you've still killed a man. And I know that that's not something I'd go round telling with pride, like the news makes it out to be like.
