Guns being used on Best Defense?

On tonight's episode Mr. Pincus was shooting out of the vehicle and I was wondering what handgun he was using. It had a de-cock mechanism on it I believe, but I couldn't tell what it was. It may have been an HK P30 but I could be way off.

I also saw where him and Mr. Janich were at Blackwater shooting one handed drills and wondered what handguns they were both using.

So if anyone knows the different handguns, any of the instructors have used through out the series, could you post them. It would just be cool to know their choices.

We rotate through guns...in the course of those 2 episodes we used a Walther P99, an S&W M&P, a Glock and a Ruger SR9...if I recall...Rob & Mike, did I leave any out?

Sorry its taken me a little bit to reply, but thank you.

Its not a matter that I am going to run out and buy exactly what you guys use, but it is nice to know what pros choose to arm themselves with.

I am still waiting for the day that we get to see your S&W Gunsite that Wayne Novak built up.

The car scenes were a Walther P99 and the one handed shooting was a Glock.

Keep in mind that on both TBD and in my PDV training series, I tend to rotate through a variety of guns to show that it really shouldn't matter much what type of semi-auto or revolver (as the case may be) you are using.  My use of a particular firearm does not necessarily mean that I am "endorsing" it.....

Very valid point.
Along that vein, it has always been an opinion of mine that one should be proficient with as many types of firearms as possible. Even if you have no intention of owning a particular weapon, it is still good to be as familiar with it as possible.
I never pass up the opportunity to handle or shoot a weapon that I am not familiar with.
Also, always remembering that if it is a caliber that I can not supply my own ammo for, I offer to purchase the ammo from the owner to use to test drive the weapon with (never had anyone take my money......gun folks are like that).

Yeah Walther P99, cameo appearance on TBD.   This is my "AS" model which is a true DA/SA.

Great thinking and I have to say I wish I have handled more handguns just to be familiar with the differences.
