Even "in the industry" you get some odd pictures at times like the Kahr brochure with both trigger fingers on the trigger (page 5) http://www.kahr.com/DL/k_brochure2008.pdf

It would be great if the manufacturers beyond getting a "great product placement" would also take some time to instruct but you can't get in the way of "artistic vision" after all.

I'm not sure she has her fingers on the trigger, It's hard to tell, but in ALL the other pictures (yes I looked, guess I'm not getting THAT old  ;D  ) she is practicing good safety. You may have better resolution or a larger screen than me, but that's how it LOOKS to me.

I agree it is hard to tell and everywhere else looks good so it is a keep them all completely clear.  I have started to write to movie publishers when things like DVD covers and posters have pictures with bad practices suggesting that they are not following the manual of arms and the practices they show get reflected into kids that then do stupid things like shooting themselves in the leg.  I don't know that these are getting to the right people but I figure if I keep hammering away about their practices as "a concerned parent" that at least I am trying.
It is all the stupid people with guns that make videos of their wives, friends etc. hitting themselves in the head, eye, or better yet shooting themselves that really kill me.  They are like the Brady campaign's wet dream.
