a)  I think this is a dead horse  b) so you'd really rather have Biden?

In my case, no problem the state did it for me.  Last time I checked with the state of GA, I don't have one.   At least not one in my name!

Long, long ago, in a galaxy the state of Georiga, all birth and death records were maintained at the county level.  Some time in the 70s, Georgia centralized all the record keeping.  At that point, I already had numerous signed and sealed copies from the county of my birth certificate as well as two passports (civilian and military) and a secret security clearance.

So when the state "computerized" the records they had trouble reading the hand-written county records.  Mine is botch so bad that they could not find it at first.   When it was determined what had happened the state worker firmly (and I mean firmly) told me "the state" doesn't make mistakes!   She was very serious about this.  It seems that the law absolved the state workers from any mistakes they made.  Which means the "keypunch" operators had no incentive to get it right in the first place.  Bad law.  It also means that whatever they typed in is now, according to the state, my name and always was.  Otherwise, they'd have to admit they made a mistake.

So, the state worker, very firmly pronounces, that if I don't like the name on my "state" birth record, I would have to go to court to have my name changed.  And I asked, would this be for free?  Or do I have to pay the state to correct their mistake.  Ow....another lecture on how the state didn't make mistakes.  Well, I didn't screw up my birth certificate, so why should I pay for it to be corrected changed?  Again I was informed, "the state doesn't make mistakes", and her department couldn't say why my parents and I had been using the wrong name all these years.  It would cost about $150 in court costs, plus lawyer fees and advertising fees (so I don't cheat my creditors by changing my name).

I thank her for her helpfulness and wished her a long and continued life of ignorance.

I must ask why would you spend that much money with law firms protecting it and why haven't we seen anything of his grades or anything else. I think we need a answer but I guess the powers are afraid or riots and to hell with the laws. He is a waste in my opinion.

Should have just had his buddy Ayers blow up or burn down the building where the records were kept before they went computer.
