Hope he is ok,we have been lucky so far.Evacuated middle school yesterday in Clyde ,Texas.Wind & dust were bad. Pray for rain.

Doing great, thanks for asking.  Tumblebug I hope you get rain and calm air.

I flew from Tulsa to Shreveport and back yesterday on a King Air.  First time I ever got motion sickness in an airplane....and I spent a lot of years on boats in the Gulf of Mexico in preparation without getting as nauseated as I was yesterday.  We had rain when I got back into town around 5 PM...had a big thunder bumper right over Tulsa and had to circle in behind it by flying near OKC.

I am on a small town Fire/Ems crew. In Southwestern Oklahoma. We were dang lucky yesterday. To not have a fire. We had Gusts of wind up to  70 miles per hour. Winds out of the west are rough in Oklahoma. It is said that they lost close or over a 100 homes in the Oklahoma City area. Dry Cedar Trees are not a good thing to live next to. Regards

It was CRAZY yesterday! I haven't had a chance to check the news today but I imagine there are still a lot of fires as well. The wind has been non-stop and 7% humidity did not help. I'm at the OSU Campus in Stillwater and they shut down HW 51 and I35 for some time. They also evacuated several towns...

I swear, if it isn't tornados it is fires!  :o

Sorry, when I singled Rastus out, friend that he his, I had no idea we had so many Oklahomans on the site. Glad you all are well - hope the fires die down and the responders get a break. 70mph winds are no fun - been ther, done that, not interested in the t-shirt.

Here in Fargo, we are approaching the second crest of flood waters. The little Maple is back over the cornfields outside the dikes (thankfully). We'll see how Fargo fares. And now the Sheyenne (yup, spelled right) over in Valley City is threatening flood. Police are on mandatory 12 hours shifts there and here. Crest due the 17th.
