Are you licensed to reload that ammo?
Alarm raised over treaty provision to ban activity

President Obama, who supported the handgun ban in Washington, D.C., before it was tossed by the Supreme Court, since his election has watched various proposals to ban "assault" weapons, require handgun owners to submit to mental health evaluations and sparked a rush on ammunition purchases that caused some retailers to name him their salesman of the year. Now he apparently is going after citzens who reload their ammunition.

It was during an official visit earlier this month to Mexico that he affirmed his support for a proposed international treaty that addresses "firearms trafficking."

According to a blogger who follows the issue, the treaty was adopted by President Clinton years ago but never ratified by the U.S. Senate, a goal Obama now has adopted.

The answer is finally here to the real reason why guns and church must mix!

The writer, B.A. Lawson, says, "If you reload your own ammo you may find yourself engaged in 'Illicit Manufacturing' of ammunition under an arms control treaty that President Obama started pushing last week in Mexico."

Possibly, although you already have a "sewer Bill" or paid for a "septic system", so you are ALREADY paying for the privaledge of taking a dump.

They probably have regulations for that.

In rural county areas of Georgia, you have to get a permit to dig a septic tank.....so, technically, if you want to crap in indoor toilets at home, you have to get a permit (albeit a one-time permit).

A friend and I have been looking at starting to reload. Well guess what? The same panic that is causing the shortage in ARs is also hitting the reloading press business. I have spoken to a couple of the big internet shops and they tell me that they can't keep presses in stock, and the manufacturers are backlogged up to 6 months on them. Yikes ! I'm not even talking about dies, powder, primers and such. Thank you Mr. President....

I guess it's a good thing I still have a Dillon RL550 still in the box....unless I need a permit to take it out.

What's next, a government permit to take a crap?

As I recall it back in 1989, it was a five page application; an inspection visit by county department head; review of site, equipment list and plans; second visit when all material was on site and digging complete; third visit after installation complete but no back fill; final visit after no less than six months of use and no more than 12 months of use.  Also, we must keep records of all work and maintenance done on system, and we must have tanks pumped every three years.  While system was being built we could use a temporary tank, but we could not pump it into our 40k barn pit with animal manure, and we could not land apply it on ag land.  All waste from the tanks had to go to a licensed waste facility.

This list is not all inclusive, but you would not begin to believe some of the crap in the system ???
