well, I personally don't have the experience with these guns, I did read the side of them. also, the squids that were fondling them were fairly familiar with them. (the rifle, not the round) As I say, I called her what I was told by her caretakers that she was. anyway, I'm sure someone, maybe yourself, is more knowledgeable on this forum than myself. certainly know more about military arms than I.

I never saw a real BAR outside of a museum but I worked on the M2 .50 BMG for 5 years in the army. If you have any questions I probably have the answers.

It doesn't matter what you call it. It still gets the job done. Death to pirates!

Safe Travels deepwater,... hope to hear from you next port of call.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Have a safe flight Deepwater. Have to agree with Pinhead Frank, Asst. Gunner in the Marines and Armorer in the Guard, M2 HB .50 Cal Machine gun. I don't know why it would have said BAR on it, UNLESS it was SEMI AUTO only like those sa 1919 belt feds on the market. I'll be googling into it and let you all know what I can find out.
