You could buy 2 NIB Bushmasters or one really tricked one, with mags for that. If you've got the cash, more power to you but, not just no, but hell no.

LOL...yup it's an expensive piece of equipment ! But Anschutz is the primo primo primo competition manufacturer. I shot International 3 position smallbore for years and their guns simply are better than any human. They all are around this price point. I am sure that other folks are gonna come in at lower prices and drive some competition once the sport takes off.

Heck were else can you shoot ARs all winter long inside of 10 meters and a cloth backstop? And figure the cost of ammo into this deal also. I would shoot typically between 500 to 1000 rounds in 2 or 3 sessions a week. Can you imagine the cost of REAL .223 ammo to acheive that? So you can develop all the motor skills, position and equipment mechanics, etc at essentially a small fraction of a couple of boxes of ammo. So you take that 2000 up front and figure that you have little afterwards. With your REAL AR you have a lower cost but a MUCH bigger ammo cost down the line. It's an alternative that's all. Another adult toy to play with. Then come spring time you can head out to the range rip roaring to go !!!
