Spring Turkey Season

Good stuff guys.

Here we have Merriam's and Rio Grande's both. The Rio's are more to the east and south along the drainages and the Merriam's are more to the west.

Had no luck this year   But, I to seen 8 hens and 2 Toms last week on the city baseball fields...

Our place is on the far western edge of Eastern turkey country, so while I get to hunt Easterns there, I hunt Rios further west on Oklahoma public land.  I'm planning to go after Rios this coming weekend, the final weekend of our season (closes May 6th).

Good camo and or a ground blind, and a call to get them close. A decoy maybe.
