Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Good Luck Phil!!!

It is hard work, but worth it.

HEY HEY!!! I resemble that remark! I am currently 255 lbs. LOL!! I think I carry it well though. At 6' 5" I could still stand to lose a little weight.

That's not a bad idea at all. Some good motivation for weight loss... who cares about health benefits! Getting a new gun is all the motivation needed. Might make the same deal with my wife.

Good luck with it! Just remember, every time you want a giant burger or a large greasy pizza, think NEW GUN!

Good luck Phil. Getting in shape, losing weight and the health benefits is worth doing. The older you get the harder it is to lose. :o

Good luck, Phil.  I too, have jumped on the so called wagon.  Sometimes I feel like I'm taller laying down than standing up.    :o  I had planned on rewarding myself with a hunting trip to Newfoundland (I've wanted to go for a LONG time), but my buddies are all married with kids, a.k.a., broke.  I may, instead, go your route and buy myself a new gun.  Not that I really needed an excuse.   ;D  I've been dieting for two weeks now and all I can say is, there is a special place in hell for all the restaurants that bombard my tv with commercials.   >:(

Personal Suggestion. Quit drinking. You will get scrawney so fast you'll think you have tape worms.

My problem is I don't FEEL a damned but better. Perhaps a few extra pounds aren't that bad after all.
